Natsu Matsuri – 夏まつり – is held yearly at the Japanese Primary School (Changi) Campus, and this year is the first time I’ve been to such a festival.

Cosfest IX, the 9th year this event has been held just ended about a week ago. Held at Downtown East on the 3rd and 4th July, it’s the first time I’ve attended Cosfest. Having attend both days of Cosfest, I’ve noticed that the crowd in Day 1 is way less than that in Day 2. The venue was packed with people on Day 2, people had to squeeze in and out of the tent area. Yups, where else can 2 otakus and 1 hyperactive guy go? To J-related events of course! After some hours of intense Googling, finally one caught the eyes of the otakus – the Anime Showdown! I took a glimpse at its poster, saw a $50 dollar out of nowhere and randomly agreed to go with them. Only to realize that one had to be one of the first 100+ people to cosplay as his/her favorite character to get a $50 worth of anime merchandise.. Ah felt kinda stupid for feeling excited over that random $50 D:

So here we go. The otakus, in charge of this outing, embarked on a 6-hour hike from the Western side of Singapore all the way to the city area… hahaha just kidding people, we took the train there lolol.

Fashion Fiesta @ Cathay

Went to Ngee Ann Poly for the SOY’B Event with some friends. The event area was saturated with people, it was hard to get around. But hey, the auditorium has nice lighting and even though we were seated at the back row, I have my zoom lens ^^.
